The David Cavey Campaign is proudly hosting a special event with a former occupant of Stornoway, the Hon. John Reynolds! 

John is one of Canada's most respected politicians and a giant in the Conservative movement. First elected as an MP (in the riding of Burnaby - Richmond - Delta) in the early 1970's John quickly rose to prominence before moving to Provincial politics in the 1980's. John became a powerful Cabinet Minister and later Speaker of the House during successive Socred Provincial governments representing West Vancouver - Howe Sound. 

Once again returning to Federal politics John served as Member of Parliament for the riding of West Vancouver—Sunshine Coast—Sea to Sky Country in the House of Commons of Canada from 1997 to 2006. During this period he also served as (Interim) Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition residing in Stornoway proceeding the Rt. Hon. Stephen Harper. 

Johns presence at this event is something incredibly special to our campaign and all members of our party in the Vancouver area. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet a proud Conservative and a battle hardened successful veteran of Canadian politics.
