Defeating Drug Addiction: Smarter Solutions Than Safe Supply

Join Us For Our Next Event!

Drug addiction is a scourge on our community but, despite everyone's concern, the problem has gotten worse and not better. Why is that? What can government do to actually, finally turn things around? Here's your chance to hear from two individuals with public policy solutions on the issue, with an opportunity to then ask them your questions.

Adam Zivo

Adam Zivo is an increasingly well-known columnist at the National Post as well as other outlets, writing about Ukraine, LGBTQ issues, and the debunking safe-supply myths to unlock more effective drug addiction public policy. He lives part-time under fire in Odessa, Ukraine experiencing Russia's "special military operation" first-hand. He's taken his multitude of experiences to a new, serially entrepreneurial level by launching a new addiction-focused non-profit: the Centre For Responsible Drug Policy, which will operate a media division that  just announced a deal with The News Forum to broadcast a weekly new show called "Break The Needle".

Adam has made himself available to share his policy wisdom on tackling the scourge of drug addiction, that's become out of control under the wrong policies. He will also share his journey to being a social entrepreneur as a means of providing greater independent journalistic integrity in how this issue is discussed in the media.

Aaron Gunn

Aaron Gunn is a lifelong advocate for taxpayers and common sense. Most prominently in his two highly acclaimed films, Vancouver is Dying and Canada is Dying, that exposed the failure of the Trudeau Government’s catch and release justice system, and their provision of taxpayer-funded drugs to those struggling with addiction.

He is now running to be the next Member of Parliament for the riding of North Island-Powell River to bring common sense back to Canada and to go to work for you: the people of this riding.
